Watercolor, 30x40 cm |
I finished working on this tulip two days ago. I took a lot of photos of the tulips we bought three weeks ago. And from those photos, I got my inspiration for this painting. I am not satisfied with the background but I think I should leave it just like that. I like more the colors of the original painting than this digital photo. Have a nice weekend to all.
A gorgeous tulip , the shape and colors are just perfect ! Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane for the compliments.
DeleteThis is just the sort of flower painting I like..
ReplyDeleteAlways a single up close of any flower, does so much more than a bunch ... well, according to me anyway. LOL !
Beautiful. !!!
Hi BJ, nice to know that you like also this kind of composition, a close up of the target subject.
DeleteHet is een prachtige tulp, Cora.

DeleteWow Cora! Dit is prachtig zeg! Geweldige vorm en prachtige kleuren. Ik vind juist de achtergrond mooi strak tegen het sierlijke van de tulp. Echt heel mooi. Mijn complimenten! :)

DeleteGorgeous tulip, Cora!
ReplyDeleteYou could always paint another, with a different background - then I'd get to see a second beauty! xx
