Cherries

These cherries remind me of our breakfast at Ibis hotel in Avranches in Normandy region in France. That was some time on July 2010 wherein we were then on our two weeks holiday in that country. I love cherries very much, so as soon as I saw them on the buffet breakfast table, I immediately picked up some, put them on our table, made a couple of pictures, and then finished them off.
I painted these cherries because they remind me of our visit in that part of France.
This painting is done in acrylic on acrylic paper. The size is 30x40cm.

loosely painted roses

A few days ago, I got some motivation to practice again painting roses in a loose style. I usually use watercolors in doing this exercise. But since I have already some canvas panel, this time I used my acrylic paints. Below is one of the two pieces I have done so far. The size of the painting is 13x18cm or 5x7in. Have a nice weekend to all.

wip: church in Auvers-sur-Oise

This church is the same church that Vincent van Gogh had painted. For reference, I'm using my own photographs which I took during my previous visits in Auvers-sur-Oise, France. I'm still busy with this painting. This is a small work, 18x24cm and in acrylic.
