another exercise on strawberries

I am not yet finish with the project I am working on this week. In the meantime I have this quick small exercise on strawberries which I did last week. I wanted to do this in a loose technique. But as shown here, my goal was not a success. I also don't like the sprinkled watercolors that I added. I think they are done too much here. Anyway, I had a nice time last week eating these strawberries which I chopped (with some more) and mixed them with my favorite ice cream 'Hertog Slagroomijs' -:). Strawberry sketch

I have no time to do some serious painting these days.  But I have this small sketch of strawberry to cheer my weekend. Hope everybody will have a nice weekend too.
P.S. Did this sketch  two weeks ago while eating the rest of the fruits.

Strawberry try-out

 I felt an urge to paint today but I was lazy to make any pencil sketch. So I decided to pick up one piece of our strawberries in the kitchen and sketched it in watercolor. I had some fun doing those small seeds on the outer part of the fruit. They were not so difficult to do but I have to do it piece by piece.
